Sorry about that guys and thanks for listening!
The TRC Superteam
Our podcast now has a fanpage on Facebook.
You may ask why…er…we have no real answer for that. Isn’t that just what people do?
Also, next live taping is April 4th at the Rivoli. Deal with it!
In this episode, Nile and Digi talk about the notorious (kinda) Alt Dot Comedy Lounge where they recorded their latest sets. Also in this episode:
And so much more!
We’ll be recording the live segments of the show tomorrow at the Rivoli as part of the Bedroom Antics Show. If you’re in Toronto feel free to come check us out!
Wow. It has been such an amazing journey! Who knew we’d make it to two episodes? I’d like to thank our sponsors: free time and pot.
A few notes about this episode: you can get it on iTunes but only by using the link on our page. The people at iTunes have to give it a listen first to make sure we’re not corrupting the youth of our nation so that might take a few weeks…to get the podcast listed, not to corrupt the youth. We can corrupt a nation in a weekend are you kidding me?
Featured in this episode:
- An invitation to come out to the Rivoli for our next taping (which happened on Monday the 7th so if you have a time machine feel free to come out…although if you have a time machine you should be using it for more important things…like making out with hot people from the past!).
- Deforestation in Brazil
- Sexy Saskatoon
- Bucket lists
- Jersey Shore
- Heckler’s on Valentine’s Day
And the best part: no mention of Charlie Sheen.
We’ll have the second episode of TRC up very soon but in the meantime, we’ll be taping the next live segment for the podcast this coming Monday at the Alt Dot Comedy Lounge. If you’re in t.o. you should come out and if not you should shoot us topic ideas by either posting here or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org!
Slowly but surely, it’s coming together. We might be available on iTunes. We just might. It’s all very complicated…and magical. Speaking of magical, if you’re in Toronto tonight (March 2nd) come out to Absolute Comedy and watch Debra DiGiovanni and Nile Séguin test out material for the next episode of Total Request Comedy. Among the topics: Salvia bans, German Dr. House fans and Saskatoon. Come on out if you can.
Here is our very first pod-baby everyone! Listen to us take our first awkward and giggly steps into the world of podcasting. In the first episode, we chat the general premise of our show, the topics we dealt with this time around, we listen to the actual comedic sets that we taped and then break down what happened. And we giggle like we’re on mushrooms. This was a fun start with a bit of self-criticism (don’t worry, we’ll pull it back next epsiode). Let us know what you think and if you have any topic suggestions for our next kick at the can. DIG IT!!!!
P.S. Big thanks to Darcy Fiander from the Comedy Above the Pub Podcast for helping us sort out all this iTunes madness (iTunes is a wonderful bitch goddess).
We recorded our very first podcast and as we speak it’s getting chopped up to make us look…well sound…good and much smartlier than we actually is. The podcast should be up sometime later this evening so keep your cyber eyes and ears peeled!
Also, we’re already taking topic suggestions for our next show so please feel free to send us ideas for topics and we’re write jokes about them for our next outing. Ideas and general good vibes can be emailed at email@example.com
This is the new (and still under construction) home for Total Request Comedy, the new podcast featuring comedians Debra DiGiovanni and Nile Séguin. Each episode will feature live performance recordings of us doing new material based on topic suggestions from listeners along with some pretty snarky commentary about what went right or where the wheels fell off. Stay tuned!
